I got a little homework assignment for ya. It's a petition that needs some signatures for Attorney General Eric Holder and how he has to follow the rule of law by actually investigating crimes--in this case, war crimes--by appointing a special prosecutor. There should also be criminal investigations into the following: the lack of due process in the prisons we run overseas, specifically and especially in Afghanistan and Iraq; the warrantless surveillance of United States citizens at home and abroad; the politicization of the Justice Department--which until such time as they actually do these things will be referred to here as the DOJ (pronounced like the word "dodge")--and, finally, the politicization of intelligence in order to start a war for one's own political or financial benefit, even if said war does not necessarily come at the expense of national security, but you could see where that might be a problem (I've been trying to find the actual law that addresses this, but, for the life of me, I can't seem to find it. I know it was signed into law in the early years of the Cold War, and that it addresses this subject, but that's about it).
